




BAR Member Opening
The Town of New Haven is seeking interested residents to fill a position on the Board of Assessment Review.
The Board of Assessment Review (BAR) is a three-member administrative review panel appointed by the Town Board to review and determine real property assessment grievances. BAR members are appointed for a five-year term. The BAR meets for Grievance Day, which occurs on the 4th Tuesday in May. BAR members must be present for Grievance Day and for any grievance hearings. Pursuant to Real Property Tax Law 523, BAR members must attend a four-hour mandatory training session upon appointment.

New Haven Rural Cemetery is seeking a Secretary/Treasurer to manage the records and finances of our cemetery.
Requirements are a valid driver's license, basic computer skills, able to follow all local and state laws.
Part-Time Groundskeeper
New Haven Rural Cemetery is seeking a reliable person to maintain our cemetery grounds.
Requirements are a valid driver's license, ability to perform demanding tasks, operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment.

2025 Home Christmas Decorating Contest
It’s a wonderful time of the year, so let’s celebrate together by decorating our houses!
Please fill out the contest form HERE , then submit it in the New Haven Town Hall Drop Box (found by the entrance of the town hall) -or- mail it to:

Judges will view the house decorations from the road on the night of Saturday, December 13th... make sure you turn on your Christmas decorations that night!
Prizes will be given for first, second, and third places. The list of winners will be posted on the New Haven website by 12/16/2025 and winners are asked to pick up their prizes at the New Haven Town Hall no later than 4 PM on Friday, December 19.

The Town is encouraging residents to mail their payments to New Haven Tax Collector, 4279 State Route 104, Oswego, NY 13126, or try the link above, where payments can be made by either credit card or e-check. Please note that a user fee will be applied to online transactions.
